Chrysalis-Ni version 1. Freeware.
Ni is a 16 step sequencer driving the pitch of a single oscillator. It features 7 waveforms, octave tuning (+3 to -3 octaves) and a simple phase modulator.
A second 16 step sequencer can be used to control the SV filter’s cutoff.
Oscillator pitch, filter cutoff and resonance, pan and master volume can all be modulated using a single LFO. The LFO has 5 selectable waveforms and syncs to host tempo. A second LFO can be used to modulate Ni’s 2 built in effects (Delay and Reverb). Each effect has it’s own SV filter and can be bypassed.
Ni is currently being updated to V2. The new version is far deeper than V1 with twin oscillators that can also act as carriers for four Frequency Modulators.
An additional 2 LFOs and 2 ADSR envelope generators have been included. These can be routed to most of Ni’s controls through the new modulation matrix.
