Video tutorials
Here is the first of three tutorials looking at Ichi V2’s features. This video explains the first half of Ichi’s sound generator, the oscillators and filter. The demonstration focus on the first sound generator only but everything covered will apply to sound generator two. This is the basic starting point for creating sounds with Ichi and is supposed to give you the understanding and foundations in creating your own sounds. Tutorial number two looks at the sound generators remaining section, the delay effect, and Ichi’s global controls.
We round up with tutorial three, an overview of Ichi’s modulation matrix, sources and destinations. This is where you really begin to manipulate your sound, creating motion and interesting timbres.

We have provided these tutorials to help you understand how Ichi works. We have tried to keep them clear and short, focusing on what you need to know. Completely rebuilt, Ichi has evolved into a powerful addition to any plugin collection.
Newcomers to synthesis will find the layout mirrors the signal path for easy navigation and a clear understanding of how to manipulate Ichi’s sound.
Patches can be created quickly for stock, bread and butter sounds. That’s not to say that you can’t dig deeper into this humble instrument, featuring multiple modulation sources and 24 destinations.
Overall, Ichi is great for performing day to day sound tasks whilst still giving the user instant access to interesting tones and timbres.

Modulation sources:-

Filter cutoff and resonance. Pan and volume.
Delay rate, feedback, cutoff and pan.
